Introduction:

Your adventurer wields arcane powers and otherworldly arts in the service of their ambitions. Some Mages are taught in formal sorcerous schools, while others gain their education from the careful instructions of a mentor. A few who practice more primal traditions might even awaken spontaneously to their power, obtaining strange abilities without any formal education at all. - WWN pg. 19

Mages have several magical traditions to choose from. Traditions differ in their flavor and available Arts and Spells. Some allow for spell-flinging and traditional conjuration, but others enhance the body or promote magical healing.

Magic in this setting is hard to master and learn. In exchange for access to arcane or supernatural power, Mages often don’t have the time to expand their skillsets like Experts, nor will they be on par with the martial skills of a Warrior.

Perhaps more than other classes, Mages require coordination with their group and careful planning to get the most from their abilities. While powerful, the spells Mages have access to are few in number, and narrow in effect.

Class Table:

If none of these classes fulfil the character fantasy you’d like, DM me with information about what you want to try and do. I could probably figure something out.
